Business Conservation Programs

West Basin and its partners bring conservation programs to businesses to help increase water use efficiency in the commercial sector. These programs run for a limited time and are available only to qualified business customers.

Complete Restroom Retrofit Program

Water use in restrooms accounts for more than 40% of total water consumption in many businesses.

This program offers qualifying business customers a retrofit of water-wasting devices found in the bathroom including toilets, urinals, and sink faucets. The Complete Restroom Retrofit program replaces water-wasting devices with High-Efficiency Toilets, Zero-Water Urinals, and Self-Closing Sensor Faucets to increase water-efficiency and help save businesses money on bathroom water expenses.

Please contact the South Bay Environmental Services Center at 310-543-3022 for more information and to schedule an initial site visit.

Save Water, Save a Buck

Offers region-wide rebates and incentives on various devices including toilets, waterless and high-efficiency urinals, water brooms, connectionless food steamers, and restaurant spray nozzles. Businesses, schools, and other facilities can save up to several hundred dollars per product. This is a program offered by Metropolitan Water District. Click here for more information: MWD’s Save Water, Save A Buck Program or visit www.bewaterwise.com.

Recirc & Save Program

This new and innovative program offers customers surveys and enhanced incentives for industrial and commercial customers using water for cooling tower conductivity controllers.  Incentives are being offered to encourage medium to large facilities to retrofit existing cooling towers with water-efficient cooling tower conductivity and pH controllers that help use water many times over. Incentives are also provided to manufacturers to replace water-wasting equipment with water-efficient, water recirculation equipment. For more information, please contact Elise Goldman at West Basin at 310-660-6253.
